We did it !
JavaScript must be enabled to view images. The day was wonderful. Words can only begin to describe the beauty, emotion and love that filled the day. Tim and I felt like the luckest couple in the world and our beautiful family were there to share every second. The ceremony was very emotional and there wasn't a dry eye in the house. The weather cooled down for us and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. The Grand Canyon is a true natural wonder. We flew through, over and around it and I still can't comprehend it's size.I hope you enjoy the photos - there is only another thousand we will share when we get home. As Tim said we appologise for the quality of the photos - they are compressed and did some funky things. Here is the link to the a clip of the ceremony. Click to open the video (25 mb WMV format) The day started out with limousines to the airport from our hotel 'The Venetian' in Las Veagas Two Maverick ECO-Star Helicopters Flew us over the Grand Canyon then landed in the Valley of fire for the ceremony, toasts, cake, hor d'oeuvres and photos. Just when we thought we were done we took off again over the Grand Canyon for about 30 mins and landed in the canyon to refuel along with all the other Maverick helicopters (about 12). Once refuelled they all peeled out one by one and flew back and over Vegas as the sunset and the city lights We can not wait to share the photo's with you all. A big thanks to Leanne for all the organising involved and to the pilots Travis and Paul.www.maverickhelicopter.comAnother big thanks to Amanada our wonderful, intrepid and passionate photographer and videographer.www.amandasphotography.com Love Kristy and Tim. ___Grand Canyon forecastUpdated Friday, July 30, 2010 11:53 AM Clear36°CHigh: 40°CLow: 30°CWind: 5 kphHumidity: 30% Saturday39° / 30°Sunday40° / 30°Monday40° / 30°Tuesday40° / 31° MSN WeatherData provided by iMap
